I don't discuss dates or timeframes because there's no way to know when every hurdle that needs to be cleared will be cleared. It just ends up building expectations from customers which inevitably lead to some level of disappointment. I recommend CS not give out such info either but sometimes they do.

The only answer to your question is really a non-answer but it's true: when it's done.

It seems to me you are stickhandling around the question. Certainly U should know if it will be a week, month or year or whatever. It has been a long time coming, while othewr companies are issuing updates on a more regular basis. I paid top dollar for your program because it was supposed to be the best out there. I'm not so sure with your "sitting on the fence attitude" that I made the right decision!!!

Fair enough. You're free to have any opinion you want about our business practices and voice them here as long as you are polite about it.

It's longstanding tradition that I don't discuss dates or timeframes publicly on these forums. I don't typically reveal new features, upcoming products, or release schedules that haven't already been publicly announced by people whose job it is to reveal such information to the public. You're newish here so maybe you weren't aware. I generally stick to discussing my personal experience with the software (which can extend to some behind the scenes info about the internal builds mostly limited to bugfixes) and ArcSoft's general business practices.

My job here extends only to my moderation duties and so, in my opinion, you should only be judging ArcSoft based on that portion of my posts. The rest is me just taking a moment here and there between my actual duties to kibitz with our customers, and offer some help where I can.

You may contact CS and they may officially share that info at their discretion. (I'd still recommend taking their answers with a grain of salt as they have a track record of being both quite close and off by multiple months.)

I have checked out the 12.6 beta drivers, and just done a complete rebuild of my computer, and there is still horrible artifacting with TMT5 and the HD7000 series. Not sure if anyone plans to do anything about it at this stage. HD7000 has been out for 5 months now.......

So its been months and months since a release of Arcsoft TMT 5.x ( forget about the minor .120 version as that had nothing important).

Is the plan to wait till Windows 8 so you can quietly walk away from the issues with TMT 5.2 and ATI hardware?

With so many issues with playback with ATI cards, this wait is now ridiculous.

Typical, new version posted after I posted!

Perhaps I should post the message without waiting months next time, then a release may be quicker LOL
