Hm. We checked XP here to make sure it wasn't an OS related bug and 140 shows the patch under the Patches tab (but you're correct about Upgrades showing "no data available" as there's no TMT4 at this time.)
All should be fine, but the .160 will help with newer movies like Wolverine. But I miss the old .120 which bitstreamed HDDVD albit with lower sound levels. Oh, if we could return to those bitstreaming days...:) Free from worry... :) Complications... Ahaah...
I started with a totalmediatheatre3platinum_retail_dl_all.exe. From there I went to a totalmediatheatre_3.0.1.120_3.0.1.140_update_all.exe.
You did this recently or a long time ago? I'd be even more surprised if you installed totalmediatheatre3platinum_retail_dl_all.exe which places a 120 build on your system and then clicking the E icon and the Patch tab shows you a patch to 140 rather than 160 because all 140 data has been purged from the system from what I can see.
Maybe you're just talking about what you've done over the whole course of ownership.
I've been looking into the backend stuff to see if I can find some oversight in the update process and I'm just not finding anything so far. I don't know why your results are different than mine.
Yep. If that solves it, let me know and I'll pull out the old builds to try the 120 to 140 patch first to see if that's the source. Would seem odd for it to be given that the majority of other users are in the same situation and no one else reported the patch not showing up, but perhaps it's something new that didn't happen right when 160 was released.
Well. Things worked easy and fine. I am the proud owner of a 160 TMT3. When I was at 140 and the patch tab told me no upgrades were available I would have no reason to think there was a 160. So now let me run a road test or two.
