Isn't Catalyst on 10.6 now? Try upgrading drivers and disabling HW Acceleration if enabled. Your 920 can handle it lol.

Patch works great: not dropping out of Aero anymore. Only the window shadows disappear but that's not an inconvenience. Thanks

Hi,
you can't turn off dxva on blurays in tmt.
TMT enforces dxva on blurays when in 2D mode no matter if dxva is turned on or off in preferences.
Catalyst 10.6 is no option as it's very unstable.

Pretty sure the only problem is that the setting is not saved. So reset it when you start the app for the short term. In the longer term, the bug will be fixed.

If I might inject my opinion, It seems Windows Media Center doesn't call any of the TMT 3 GUI Settings; It places its' own overlay on top of the TMT 3 viewer window. This fix, If I'm not mistaken applies to the TMT 3 overlay and not the viewer itself, so it seems a second file with a setting to enable Aero would be needed (Sorry, but I don't know the layout of WMC enough to tell you where though)

Sorry, I thought I posted the Media Center version previously, but that does not appear to be the case. I'll get it added to the first post when time permits...

TMT 3.0.1.180 no SimHD Windows 7 x64 i7950 @ 4ghz ATI/AMD 5870 Catalyst 10.7
No concerns(marigolds) with the reading of DVD, but on the other hand with a BLu-Ray it does not work.
