With both Photostudio 5 and 6, there seems to be a serious restriction on the size of any text added to an image. At maximum font size 72 I can get text added to a photograph equivalent to about font size 12 in an ordinary, A4 text document. If I use the smaller text sizes in Photostudio, the text is so minute it is impossible to see without a magnifying glass. What's wrong here? I need to identify proof photographs with LARGE numerals i.e. about 2" high if on a 10"x8" print. Any hints out there??

You're confusing the list of preset choices with some sort of maximum.
Just type the number you want in there instead. Like 600 or something.

Hi, Jason, About a year ago you could make text up to 999. It then reduced overnight to only 99. (maybe due to an upgrade ?). Check out the message by Sungirl 31 May 09 and my reply 3 June 09. This is very poor as you now can't use large text or make banners or posters . Is there any way this can be changed back to 999 ? Thanks, Mike88

My version is pretty old so it's possible and I just haven't seen this bug. Contact customer service about the issue. |
