When playing BluRays through TMT they are much darker than they should be. Other media formats play at the correct brightness in Media Centre so turning up the brightness isn't a solution as then everything else would be way too bright. Is there somewhere I can configure the brightness or is there another issue at work here.

I have TMT 175 update, Windows 7 32 bit, ATI HD4670

Any help would be great

Cheers

also check your color space to be set the same on PC, TV and maybe receiver. Black and whites might be disturbed if thise settings do not match.

Also, Media Center can be the cause in some cases and there are some settings to adjust it.

This thread covers more than all the grisly details:

If you just want the summary, I think google "nominal range media center" will turn up the necessary changes.

Thanks for the help but my other media's brightness levels are absolutely fine so surely changing this across the system will just make them too bright?
