Jason - does this beta introduce any new issues that you are aware of?

Yes, it introduces some not so nice things for us. First, as some of you are probably aware by now it turns off Aero. I can live with that. However, there's a far bigger problem. On Windows 7 to bitstream with a Xonar you must set it to start in Vista SP1 compatibility mode. Yea, except with this build, that no longer is possible. The exe starts but the gui is never displayed. Bitstreaming with it running as a Windows 7 native app gives me no audio. So, this is a very big step backwards for me.

Thank You Arcsoft and Jason for releasing this BETA Patch.
I just did a quick test for #10 on the list and all I can say is Thank You again.
I am using version 2.53 of MyMovies.

I may have jumped the gun on this. Other people have bitstreaming working in W7 using our beloved Vista SP1 compatibility so I have some work to do on my own machine. It's likely that this is a problem that's local to my environment. When I get a chance to try to fix it I'll post back here and on avs forum to see how I did. :) So, this could be a false alarm on my part so I apologize if I jumped the gun.

So far I am very pleased with the improvements I've seen with this update on my Vista x64 SP2 system over version 3.0.1.120. That SimHD advertisement on the top left of the window is a thorn in my side, however, being that I am an ATI Radeon HD 4870 owner and I have no option to buy SimHD using ATI Stream yet.
Nonetheless, good job. Really good job. You may yet totally pull me away from using other players. Once the stability issues are fully stamped out then I'll be using TotalMedia Theatre all of the time.
Edit: I also am displeased to see Aero turned off even when watching a SD DVD?!? That's just extremely bad. I'd understand if I was playing back an HD-DVD or BD but that's a serious annoyance with an SD DVD. Of course, this is a beta. I get that but I am confused as to why it was done.
I also noticed that with my SD DVD in my drive I get no volume name appearing for the DVD when I went to select the source drive. I knew what drive the disc was in so I just pointed to the drive but I don't know why the volume name isn't listed.

Well, the beta made things worse in some weird way. I was suffering from (1) and also from another unlisted condition: the GUIs didn't start after a few uses. Seemed like the copy protection issue. I am on Vista Premium on an Nvidia GeFOrce 9400 integrated chipset motherboard. One BD drive (LG), one Virtual CloneDrive.
I did a fresh reinstall, but the beta basically doesn't work, either in stand-alone or VMC modes. Symptoms: - GUI starts, but only the ATI and Nvidia logos appear instead of the long strip of icons. - GUI is responsive to mouse clicks, but playing never starts. - In the stand-alone GUI, the "source" right-click menu shows nothing (normally: 2 drives) - In the VMC GUI, the source menu works but I get a "Please insert a valid disc and try again" message. - SPDIF doesn't appear as a list of sound outputs.
The regular TMT3 release has none of these issues.

Same here.
- My first attempt was just to install the beta over my .120 - no go
- My second attempt was to un-install .120 first, then reinstall .120. Afterwards I installed the beta - no go
- My third attempt was to un-install .120 first first, manually
cleaned out any traces from TMT, then installed .120 and the beta - no
go (all attempts had reboots in between the steps)
W7 RC 7100 32 bit - clean/lean install, Xonar standard with latest drivers, NVidia GTX250 with 182.50(?)
