Tiff files in Darkroom

   Hello all!

I am interested in darkroom2 but I have enormous problems with the demo.
I scan my B&W negs into photoshopCS2 & save as a tiff format. The files are large, more or less 100mb (size 9000 x 4500 pixels).
When I load them into Darkroom 2 to make global adjustments  the program freezes on a "pixlelated" imported  image.

I have no problem loading the same image into Darkroom v 1.7 (full version) although it crashes when I want to save / export !

My question is: Can  Darkroom only process a certain sized file or pixel count ? (I know I am restricted with the v2 demo but what is happening in V1.7 when it crashes!!)

Am I doing anything wrong while scanning, I scan at  16bit greyscale or  24/48 colour.
I need high quality for exhibition purposes.

	to figure out this issue, could you provide us more information of the device? Some of the devices may not be supported by the PSD program.
