Recently I purchased the new bluray burner LG BH08LS20. This is a fanastic little jewel to play and create blu rays however I could not get any blu rays to play in TMT3 and had trouble playing recently release DVDs like Wolverine and Transformers II. LG advised me to install ANYDVD HD - they said it contained a very current bluray codec and the new dvds required this. I did what they asked and everything plays. I always thought I could rely on TMT3 or the blu ray software player to provide codecs. Am I wrong? How does ANYDVD HD relate to your software and what is it doing? ConfusedBig%20smile

It's not related to codecs. AnyDVD isn't even related to codecs. AnyDVD curcumvents security.

New discs have new security in some cases. The current release of TMT has the latest security as well, and the discs you mention play fine here which would lead me to believe you don't have the latest release of TMT, but you haven't mentioned what version you're on.

My TMT3 is 3.0.1.140. I also have COREL WINDVD. They use to play nice together but recently the COREL would play and the TMT3 would not. davinleeds is that slickies or sickies.

If this isn't the most recent version how do I get a hold of it and does it come with all the codecs it needs or should I get them somewhere else.

David means "stickies" as he wrote--ie the threads that have the sticky property and appear at the top of the Slysoft forums.

3.0.1.140 is not the most recent. Select the "E" icon from the top menubar and select Update/Patch to get the latest.

And once again, it has absolutely nothing to do with "codecs" so whether they are the same or different is meaningless.

I click the E like you said and the patches and upgrades tabs say "There is no data at this time". This, of course, can't be right. SAVE ME FROM THE WAYS OF SLYSOFT!!!!!!  Get the upgrade to me, please.Cry

I installed 3.0.1.140 on a test system and it pops up the 160 patch under E : Patches fine for me. (It was showing it on the splash screen before I even clicked the E icon...)

Do you have a live internet connection? Is the Holloween ad under E : Promotions showing up to prove that TMT is seeing the internet?

Is this a English installation of TMT3 on an English operating system?

Are you absolutely sure you got every number right in the version number? (Retail 3.0.1.140 is what I tested, and we can see the download counts of successful patches from this version which makes it pretty clear it's working for most people.)

Yes I see a holloween ad saying HALLOWEEN TREAT FROM ARCSOFT this is valid thru 10/31/2009. Registration Tab says 3.0.1.140. Upgrade and Patch say no data is available. Yes this is a good ol american system, xp. So there is some people this isn't working for. How do I get around it - do I need to reinstall? What is the version I should be at?Clap

I got to this release through 2 or 3 upgrades. I am thinking that maybe something wasn't successfully patched in. Maybe its not the same as starting from 3.0.1.140 and moving on from there. Angry
