Bought a Tevion USB Digital TV tuner from Aldi - great, it comes with a software CD containing Total Media Theatre, Total Media 3.5 & Media Converter 2.5 but only the licence keys for TMT & TM 3.5 are on the CD cover...no key for the Media Converter. Hence, it won't load onto my PC because it needs the licence key to load!! Contacted the support site unisupport.net to register my query. As usual as a chocloate teapot, I'm still waiting a reply. Anyone else experienced this issue? How can I get my licence key so I canuse the software? Any help appreciated.

Same problem here... waiting for response from customer support. Real Catch-22 there! Can't install the software without the serial number, but the serial number is only visible from INSIDE the program after you've installed it! :-(
Whoever gets an answer first to this, let's post here! Probably a bunch of folks will be picking up the software at Aldi this week, like we did. |

Arcsoft contacted me and told me that I have an OEM version of their
product and that I should contact another company instead (Dexatek). I
did that and got a reply back immediately from a live person there
(quite impressed with that!). He told me that I should look on the
white sleeve the software disk came in. I did, and lo and behold, the
Media Converter S/N is printed on a little label on the front of the
sleeve. So if anyone else hasn't noticed the number for Media
Converter is printed there, hope this helps you!
(The ShowBiz s/n is INSIDE the program, however. And to get it, you need to click the menu item in the program to register it. It takes you to a website that is defunct and starts filling out a form for you, including the s/n. Copy that number and go to the current Arcsoft website and register there. It worked for me fine after that little runaround.) |

The sleeve on my CD had the Serial number too but it would not load because it wasn't the license key. I emailed Unisupport and got a response but their response email was in my spam folder. It took a couple of emails. First response told me it was the number on the sleeve. I wrote back and told them that number would not work. So then they sent me a license key number. I had bought the Tevion DVD Maker from Aldi's.
