Image Codecs
ArcSoft image codecs provide device applications
with the ability to produce and play popular imaging with formats. They are highly optimized for ARM-based chipsets. The SRAM/IRAM optimization is customizable; let us know the architecture of your platform and processor, and we'll use different strategies to speed up the codecs.

(bitrate, frame rate, output color space, etc.), and are
specifically optimized for ARM-based chipsets and
streaming applications.

- MPEG-4 Simple Profile encoder, Simple Profile
and Advanced Simple Profile decoder
- H.263 Profile 0 / Profile 3 encoder and decoder

Video Telephony Codecs
ArcSoft’s Mobile Video Telephony codecs include
the encoders and decoders for MPEG-4, H.263,
and AMR-NB. They provide device applications
with the ability to handle video calls over both
the Circuit-Switch (CS) and Packet-Switch (PS)
networks under limited bandwidth.
VT-Specific Codecs Include:
- MPEG-4/H.263 Codec: Supports Data Partition,
RVLC, Resync Marker, I Frame Insertion on-request,
Adaptive Intra efreshment, Different Packet Size
Generation, etc.
- AMR-NB Codec: Supports Interface Format 2, DTMF
signal generation & detection, DTX, and CNG.
