portable device with a crisp display. In addition,
powerful PC companion software–ArcSoft
TotalMedia™–allows users to easily
manage any media content on a PC and assures
file format compatibility before synchronizing
and transferring files to the portable media
device.
ArcSoft will license
the reference design, operating system,
and total system solution, including all
software packages to customers such as hardware

Because ArcSoft TotalMedia Portable
supports CompactFlash media cards,
photo enthusiasts can quickly and
easily backup and review digital
photos from virtually anywhere on
the road. The device also includes
software for presenting digital
pictures as dynamic slide show presentations
and tools for cropping, rotating,
and making basic color corrections
in the field.
The ArcSoft TotalMedia Portable
can be connected to digital cameras
via USB and download content directly.

Photo Printing in the Field
ArcSoft TotalMedia Portable connects
directly to any USB printer and
provides a complete set of print
setup options for getting perfect

Video Playback and Record
Key video playback features include
Play/Pause/Fast Forward/Reverse
and Auto Resume. An MPEG-4 encoder,
integrated directly into the device,
allows for video recording, too.
The companion desktop software captures
and transcodes any PC-based video
for use on the device.
MP3 Playback and Record
The well-designed audio interface
makes finding and playing MP3 files
quick-n-easy. While you’re
listening to your favorite tunes,
you can check out the associated
album cover artwork and track info
(song, artist, album) or browse
the digital pictures you have stored
on the device. The audio record
module allows you to capture music
or voice in mp3 format.
