In Windows Explorer, you can view your JPG pictures as thumbnails. However, this may not work with your RAW pictures. Here are some options for addressing this issue and making it easier to browse your digital photos in Windows Explorer.
Option 1 (works for Canon and Nikon Cameras on Windows XP):
1. Download and apply Windows XP SP2 if you haven’t already done so. If you are in an office, please check with your IT team first. The SP2 installer is available at:

2. Download and install the Microsoft XP Raw Thumbnail viewer from:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/digitalphotography/prophoto/raw.mspx
Option 2 (works for all major camera brands on Windows 2000, XP, and Vista):
Download and install the free ArcSoft RAW Thumbnail Viewer™.
