Step 1Choosing the Input AVCHD File to be Converted
Launch the software in standby mode at your computer.
Click on the "Video" icon on the left panel of the software below the label "Source" to select the desired AVCHD input file.
Select the desired AVCHD file, which is available in MTS or M2TS format from the input box. Make sure that you select the right AVCHD file you want to convert in other compatible file formats.
Choose your own preferences:
This advanced and fully automated ArcSoft MediaConverter also enables users to edit and change the preferences in the input file in strict accordance to their requirements. To edit the preferences in your AVCHD video file, a 
icon is offered on the input file dialog box. Click the icon to open a dialog box with a number of preferences to choose from. The screenshot below shows the options available to edit.
Once you have decided and checked the preferences in the check box, click "OK" to save.
Step 2Selecting the Desired MOV Output File Format
1.From the right top corner of the ArcSoft MediaConverter, click on 
icon to choose the output file format (MOV file in this case).
2.You will get a dialog box with title "Select Output".
3.Now select the desired file format from the thumbnail list of the file formats given in the dialog box.
Step 3Start the Final Conversion
Once you have selected both the input file and output file from the software, you can now execute the final AVCHD to MOV conversion process with ArcSoft MediaConverter.
1.To convert AVCHD file format into MOV format, click on "Start" button at the bottom right corner of the software.
2.A process bar starts running on the interface to show the percentage of the execution done at a given point of time.
3.You may click on the "Pause" alternatively to stop the process abruptly.
Once conversion is finished, a message of task accomplishment is displayed. Now you are ready to enjoy your favorite AVCHD tracks and videos in MOV format.
