Subject:TMT6 Metro mode XBMC

Question:

Hi, I am trying to get Totalmedia Theatre 6 to work in Metro mode as an external player in XBMC media centre (I like the interface better in Metro). I can get it to launch by using the command -Metro but once virtual clone drive has loaded the disc it will not play it just crashes. Thing is it works fine in normal windows mode without the -Metro added to the command line. I'm running windows 8.1 and have tried XBMC Frodo and Gotham with no luck I have also tried Deamon tools. Back in windows 7 everything worked fine. Is there a command I should add that I haven't tried yet? Any help greatly appreciated!! -Rob

Question:

Yes it works fine when launched by the normal EXE. but when I try to launch TMT6 in metro mode using the -Metro command in the command line Metro wont load the disc in XBMC Im using the correct code that works for every media player I own in XBMC except for TMT6 in metro mode, it did use to work perfectly in XBMC in windows 7. I'm using deamon tools to mount the image I did try virtual clone drive to no with no luck either .

Support Answer:

Hello Robin,

Thank you for your feedback and message. It's my pleasure assisting you.

We are sorry for the delayed response. We have checked your issue and did some research. Please download file via the link https://www.dropbox.com/s/thak6c4jf8nsism/sign.zip.

Extract it to get two files. Please replace uTotalMediaTheatre6.exe to TMT installing directory, and replace uMetroASUIBaseWnd.mmz to C:\Program Files (x86)\ArcSoft\TotalMedia Theatre 6\Plugins\VideoModule\PlayDVD.

Then please launce TMT with the command line:
"-Metro" "Y:\DVD Sample\SPEED_MASTER_tokuten(Disc2)_4x3_(J)_(08-02-0386)"

It should work for you now.

Hope this information helps. Please feel free to contact us if you have any other issue, we would be happy to help.

Thank you very much for your support of ArcSoft!
Wish you all the best in 2014!

Best Regards,

I am trying to activate TotalMedia Theatre 6 & cannot find support or how to acquire a KEY. I notice you mention Retired Product does this mean you do not support it? Or what product replaces it? Please let me know. @ fgnewth@bigpond.com Australia
