TotalMedia Theatre has all the features and effects for you to improve video quality, such as standard video editing tools for adjusting the brightness, contrast, hue, and saturation of your movie. Beyond that, TotalMedia Theatre is also embedded with ArcSoft's improved SimHD algorithm, which can upscale your collection of standard multimedia files up to near HD quality.

How to Use ArcSoft TotalMedia Theatre to Enhance Video
Install and launch ArcSoft TotalMedia Theatre. Note: Please make sure your computer system matches the requirements. Click the "AV Center" button, located on the top control panel.

You can enhance video playback in "Display" tab. Check "Hardware Acceleration" for systems that meet system requirements. If your computer does not have a high-performance video card, uncheck it to improve system performance.

In "Mode" drop-down list, choose "Auto Deinterlace" will automatically determine the correct deinterlace setting; choose "Force Deinterlace" if your DVD disc isn't correctly coded for playback; or choose "None" to disable deinterlace. Note: Deinterlacing should be used if you are watching your movie on an LCD screen or an HDTV. Interlacing should be used if you are watching your movie on a CRT.
Go to "Video Effects" tab to change the brightness, contrast, hue, and saturation of your video.

In the "Mode" drop-down list, six preset color options are provided. Select the one you want to apply to your video. If you don't like the presets, you can customize the color. Use four sliders that let you control video brightness, contrast, hue, and saturation. Drag the sliders to get a color effect you like. The setting is applied to the current profile immediately and applied to the video in real-time. Click "Restore" to reset these options to their default values.
You can also enable the SimHD function to improve video quality. Just click "SimHD" button on the top control panel to turn on the function and the quality of your movies will instantly turn into near-HD quality.
